About Me

Judith Sperling Hechter, DPM
Dr. Hechter graduated in 1990 from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at Metropolitan-Mt.Sinai Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This included rotations through Hennepin County Medical Center and the International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet Medical Center. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Dr.Hechter is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Department of Family Practice and Community Health. Dr.Hechter has been a member of the Twin Cities Marathon medical team since 1990, and has lectured at running clubs, walking clubs and diabetic education courses. She was president of the Minnesota Board of Podiatric Medicine from 1994 to 2006.
